Cloud Control™ is software that runs on top of your existing hardware, or on new dedicated machines. Cloud Control™ manages real networking equipment and virtualized compute instances that are hosted within traditional physical servers and real storage servers.
Cloud Control™ gives you a web interface and APIs that are robust enough to manage full life cycle of complete application deployment architectures that span:

Joyent uses our Cloud Control™ software to manage our publicly available multi-tenant cloud. The Joyent cloud has enterprise-grade security at the network, storage, OS, physical hardware, management interface, and API levels.
